Ezio Salvai is the new General Manager (Chief Executive Officer) of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Romania starting July 2011.
According to a press release, he will be responsible for coordinating all activities and strategy of the bank and to put in practice the new Business Plan of Intesa Sanpaolo Group. Previously Ezio Salvai was President of the Management Board in Banka Koper (Slovenia) for the last 3 years.
Also, in the last 5 years he was part of the Supervisory Board of several banks of Intesa Sanpaolo – as Deputy Chairman in VUB (Slovakia), as Chairman in Intesa Sanpaolo Banka (Bosnia Herzegovina) and as Member in the rather recently established Intesa Sanpaolo Card.
